Role: UX/UI Design Date: Jan 2025 Timeline: 16 weeks (to prototyping) Platform: Web + Mobile

Platform adopted by 2,000 staff members across Australia

Reduced paper-based note-taking by over 70% within 6 months

80% task completion rate in under 3 minutes

The Challenge

Aged care workers across Calvary are still relying on notebooks and external apps to track notes, schedule appointments, and follow budget summaries. This method is inefficient and presents privacy risks to clients in care.

Carol - Calvary Corymbia

Needs: easy access to client history, budget overviews, tidiness

Frustrations: dislikes using multiple sources, can’t keep track of scheduling

The Goal

To design and integrate an accessible and intuitive web and mobile portal for home care staff that:

Consolidates appointments, care plans, and tasks

Supports multiple staff roles with tailored dashboards

Ensures compliance within clinical and budget standards

Boosts daily workflow efficiency and reduces reporting friction

Icons and Buttons

Development of illustrative and interactive icons. All icons passed WCAG AA+ contrast requirements.

Colour

Using a combination of primary, secondary, and category brand colours to streamline hierarchy, navigation, and readability. Additional colours were acquired to enhance CTAs and highlights.
